I’ve always loved photographing kids and families but through my journey in to motherhood I have a much deeper appreciation of all things woman and mom. One of my favorite photography projects I’ve done in the last 2 years is partner with the every talented Kristina of Simply Stunning Weddings and Events for our Simply Stunning Mini Sessions. These sessions are meant to pamper the woman/mom including hair and makeup, wardrobe, mimosas and treats, as well clothing for the littles and coordinating flower crowns and backdrops. Clients get two 15 min photo slots that allow for an outfit/backdrop change. The simplicity of the photos being taken on the bed really put the focus on the subject being photographed. These are perfect for boudoir, maternity, newborn sessions, mommy & me, or family portraits, all the walks of life for women/moms. Though I have moved to Oregon I still try to plan a day of mini sessions with every trip I have back in California. If I am unavailable for particular dates my associate photographer Leslie has stepped in for a seamless transition. I plan to continue sessions like this in Bend and my new house is a perfect setup for them! Next mini session dates in San Jose are April 15th, so contact me if you’re interested!
