A Stonewall Ranch Wedding on August 17th, 2013 in Savery, Wyoming. Jessica & Jonathan had a dream wedding. Everything about it was gorgeous not to mention they are gorgeous themselves. It was so sweet to see him get emotional after their ceremony because of how much she meant to him. You can tell that they are madly in love with one another and I don’t think he could stop kissing her all day long! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day! I wish you two the best! More about their wedding at the bottom of the post!
From the bride, Jessica, “The first time Jonathan and I visited Stonewall Ranch, we were both in awe. There is such peacefulness when you are surrounded by such beautiful views and nothing but the sounds in the breeze of the horses, cattle and the Little Snake River. The amazing property sits low and secluded off of a quiet highway in Wyoming, just north of the Colorado border. It is bordered on one side by a unique massive rock wall formation which is where Stonewall derives its name. The Ranch is owned by a long-time family friend and we will ever be grateful to them for inviting us there for a long summer weekend in 2012. Jonathan instantly suggested this be the place that we get married one day, while I admit I thought he was a bit crazy because the ranch is in the middle of nowhere, I too had fallen in love with the idea. About 8 months later he proposed and we immediately started planning the wedding of our dreams at Stonewall Ranch.
Our inspiration for our wedding came from the Ranch itself. We wanted the natural elements that surrounded us to not be out shined by our wedding colors and décor. We chose quiet neutral tones like whites, blushes and ivories for the bridesmaid’s dresses and flowers. Jonathan loves grey, so he chose that for his suit and the groomsmen’s suits. We wanted “rustic elegance” to be the theme, so for the table décor we used ivory linens, with mason jars filled with candles, rustic frames for the table numbers and we used the white and blush bridesmaids bouquets for the centerpieces.
As a little girl, you always dream of your wedding day and wonder how it will be and what your dress will look like. Our wedding day was far beyond any dream wedding I could have imagined as a little girl. It turned out absolutely perfect, down to the weather, the food and the music.
My favorite personal touch we had in our wedding was Jonathan’s younger brother playing “Here Comes the Bride” on acoustic guitar for the processional, and “All You Need is Love” for the recessional. It was very touching and emotional. It was a fairy tale day.”
